Best overall Essay 2015

Ayawen Asuinura is a 16 year old student from Sandema in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
He won the country award for the DStv Eutelsat Star Awards competition in the essay category. Ayawen is currently studying at Presec school where he has been elected SRC General Secretary.
This enthusiastic and motivated student has shown interest in science and mathematics by participating in different University camps.


Runner up overall Essay 2015

Sara Eribo, is a 16 year old senior student at the Victory College Malabo located in Equatorial Guinea. Motivated by science and technology, Sara jumped at the opportunity to participate in the DSTV Eutelsat competition.
Her engagement and interest in scientific domain together with a strong taste for learning allowed her to win the appreciation of the Jury in order to take the runner-up prize.

Best overall Poster 2015

Mallon Marume, 19 years old, did his A levels at Mutuare Boys High School (Zimbabwe) where he also studied Art, history and Shona. Very early on he developed a passion for art and is still exploring his creative thinking skills by entering national art competitions.
Mallon will be awarded a trip for two to Eutelsat Paris and a satellite construction site, as well as a DSTV installation for his school.

Benjamin Ibanda is a 17 year old student at Kings College Budo (Uganda) where he is majoring in Geography, Economics and Fine art. Benjamin won the country award for the DStv Eutelsat Star Awards competition in the poster category. .
